    Hello,

I’m working on a project (subscription website) that use:

    • WooCommerce
    • Groups for WooCommerce
    • and Groups plugin

I created two groups with there own capabilities using the group plugin:

    • Group A — with capability “Premium”
    • Group B — with capability “Free subscription”

Whenever i assign access restrictions for a page or a post it removes that page or post entirely from the website menu e.g ( i have a services page with access restrictions Group A, if i open the website i didn’t find that page in my menu).

Is this the normal to happen or ? or it must show the page with a 404 because the user not registered?

    Thanks

    Hi,

What you describe is the intended behavior – it hides the content completely and also menu items where they are related to protected posts (unless a Link type menu item is added where you indicate the URL instead of choosing the post).

If you want to keep a menu item visible although the post is restricted, you can use the Link type indicating the URL or you can leave the post without access restrictions but use the shortcodes to enclose protected content.

    Cheers
