strange behavior in wordpress’ new widget setup

Alright, from the screenshot it seems that you’re using the “classic” WordPress Popular Posts widget and not the new WordPress Popular Posts block, correct? If so then yeah that’s a known issue. The classic WordPress Popular Posts widget isn’t really fully compatible with the new Widgets screen at the moment (and there’s a good chance that it’ll never be).

Right now your current options are:

• Switch to the WordPress Popular Posts block, or
• Install the Classic Widgets plugin if you want to keep using the classic WordPress Popular Posts widget.

Brillant Hector. The new Wpp-block works great and are just right for my page.
The widget title did not show so I added to the “Before popular posts”-text a bit of a workaround but it works!

This will be fixed with the next release so remember to remove the title from the “Before…” field once you update ??
