Strange behaviors

Before Upgrading to 4.2 I wanted to do a backup and searched and found this plugin, but in my opinion the functions are not working very proper. Here is what i tried:
First I wanted to backup my WP with full backup to Gdrive, so in the Backup section I chose “Google Drive”, pressed “Authenticate” and a Google Site opened to authenticate the plugin to write into my Gdrive > OK (I was already logged in into Gmail in this broswersession, so thats ok). After that I chose “Full backup” and started the backup. I watched the progress in the log-file and also in my FTP. Files were generated and after that I saw in the log: [2015-04-24 08:19:37] Backup complete
[2015-04-24 08:19:37] Upload to the “Googledrive” required … and after that nothing, no growing progress or anything. Looking for that in my Gdrive I saw it generated two folders named “Backup by Supsystic” and the subfolder named to my blog-domain, but no content. Nothing happend anymore. Tried this three times without success.Ok after that I tried another thing, backup to FTP > this worked good, I downloaded the zip and sql to my computer. Now i noticed: there is no “Restore” section … Dafuq? Ok, after a bit of looking I saw that this must be in the Log section … not very logical but ok, this section was empty until I uploaded my .sql and .zip to the generated folder in my Gdrive. So I was not able to restore the sql/zip that is also placed in “/wp-content/upsupsystic”, why not? If I have two Backups in FTP, one in Gdrive I want to see three backups in the summary isn’t it?
I also noticed the tmp folder which is full of files additionally to the files in the .sql and .zip … why? Instead of 500MB my backup now needs 1000MB for 500MB of files. After a successful backup it would be legitim to delete the temp files, isnt it?
But in the end I was able to do a backup in a very quick and “easy” way. My suggestions would be:
– Add a section named “Restore”, anything else is far away from any logic
– Check the upload to Google Drive (I did not test the other clouds) and fix it
– Add an option to remove temp-files automatically after a successful backup (or do it by default :D)
– maybe some rework has to be done in the backups-summary to show all backups from any sourceA lot of critic. I know but in the end this plugin is great because of its easy to use handling and the very fast processing and at least it’s for free (for the main parts of the software). Hope my documentation helps you to make your plugin a little bit stronger ??
best regards
