Strange code: display:none

Hello,
My wordpress website is not able to display the meta slider.
There is simple nothing there when I load the page.
But, when I look into the code, with Chrome Developer Tool, I see that the li component for the slider is set to display:none.
If I disable it using Chrome Developer tool I get the slider back.
