Hi @nekojonez, thanks for your message about this.

This plugin doesn’t appear on our incompatibility list at present, although more tests may be required to be sure. Rather than allowlisting on a case-by-case basis, have you tried running in Learning Mode for a period of time? This could help allow plugin operations that haven’t been singled-out yet if anything is being blocked as a false-positive.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now visit the pages that admin-menu-editor has, load and save some changes etc. to teach Wordfence what’s happening is normal and should be allowed in future. After you have finished, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting.

If the issues persist after disabling Learning Mode, let me know.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hey @nekojonez,

We are also using the same plugin. No issues.

Following @wfpeter’s advice should help. Also, make sure you’re not hiding Wordfence in the backend (via the plugin’s settings).

Go to WP Admin > Settings > Menu Editor > Plugins, then make sure the Wordfence box is checked.

If everything fails, consider a clean reinstall of Wordfence, the plugin, and/or contact the plugin developer.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers ??

It looks like it fixed itself or learning mode did it’s job. Thanks guys!
