Strange error flagged by wordfence in my backupbuddy file

  • I am getting a strange thing flagged by the wordfence scan in my backupbuddy backups. This has happened on 3 different backups. I asked the backupbuddy support and they suggested a comment but I don’t see that url that is being flagged anywhere. The suggested I ask you. How can I figure out where this is coming from? I added a screengrab of the error

  • Hi clamoreaux,
    The file is a backup of your database so it means that somewhere in your database that URL exists. Next time you get the message you can access your database via PhpMyAdmin or something similar and search for the URL. If you have functions that clean up spam comments it’s possible that the URL only exists there for a short period of time which is why I suggest you check it directly after you get that warning.
