Strange Error Message shown
-
I noticed that my segmented list in Mailchimp was no longer being updated after purchasing a product in my store. I had this automation working very successfully.
To investigate, I logged into my wordpress site to look at the settings of the plugin. Any attempt I made to view the settings page threw this error:
MailChimp_WooCommerce_ServerError thrownIt simply shows a white screen with the phrase above and nothing more. I tried to deactivate the plugin and it threw the same error. I finally was able after a few times to deactivate/reactivate to no avail. I then deleted the plugin and downloaded a fresh copy. I am now able to get to the settings page to enter an API key, but it will not save – it shows the same error.
I have found no reference to this particular error message in the forums. The only updates I made to the site since I had this working was an addition of a new plugin – WP Affiliate Manager. I deactivated it to try again, to no avail. I also deactivated my caching plugin.
Below is a sample of my server settings:
### Server Environment ###Server Info: Apache/2.4.23
PHP Version: 5.6.30
PHP Post Max Size: 8 MB
PHP Time Limit: 600
PHP Max Input Vars: 1000
cURL Version: 7.36.0
OpenSSL/1.0.1eSUHOSIN Installed: –
MySQL Version: ? 5.5.52 – We recommend a minimum MySQL version of 5.6. See: WordPress Requirements
Max Upload Size: 2 MBI realize the SQL version is just below the recommendation, but Woocommerce itself is working very well – and I did have the Mailchimp plugin working nicely too.
What is throwing this error?
