Strange folder in file manager called easytest

There is a folder in several different places in my file manager called easytest.

It shows up in several, but not all domain folders. The majority of the folders are empty and show up at the root, wp-admin, wp-content & wp-includes as well as folders within these locations. All have a Last Modified date of Sept 6th. Some of the folders contain a file called sample.txt, however the file is blank.

HostGator did a scan and found nothing malicious. It only shows up in 1 of my 2 cpanel accounts.

Any idea how / why this EasyTest folder showed up in my file manager?
