  • The page you can’t edit is probably set up as a blog page. You can find the setting under Settings > Reading. Here is more about it: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/settings-reading-screen/

I would recommend to leave the setting as it is. What exactly do you want to change on the page? Maybe the theme you are using offers some settings (mostly found in the customizer).

hi and thanks for your answer
i dont understand what i shall look at in seetings/reading
the page i am speaking about, called “le-festival”, do not present the content it seems to have when i edit it : very stange.
If i charge it on a browser, the top posts that appear are (a) “le 25eme festival approche” and “soirée concert” and “la petite sirène” and “privé : brouillons copiés-collés”
whereas if i edit the page called “le-festival” in my wp-admin, what i see is (b) : “le 26e (video)” and “le programme” etc
what i really want is understanding the way (a) was created in order to create other pages the same way

i precisze that the “blog” page, referred as “posts page” in setting/reading, has for slug “blog”
the page i am working on has for slug “le-festival”
what i just dont understand is why when i edit this page in wp-admin, the content is reaaly different of what i see on a browser when i load myadress/?page_id=le-festival

Go to Settings > Reading and look at “Post Page”. I assume there is “le-festical” set as. Thats why this page is a blog-page and not a normal page you could edit. This setting also implements the design for this based on your theme’s specifications. This setting is valid only once per WordPress installation. If you want to design other pages in the form, you would have to see what your theme allows in this regard. Often you can achieve a similar view when using Gutenberg, e.g. with the Query Loop Block. If you use another PageBuilder, you would have to look into its documentation.

    hello
no, no, the “posts page” is named “Blog” and has for slug “blog”
the page named “Le Festival” and having for slug “le-festival” is another page
this page “le-festival” exists in wp-admin (in the list of the pages) and when i visit it typing the url “blablmywebsite/?page_id=le-festival”, then the content i see is not the content i have when editing it in wp-admin
    strange, isn’t it ?
    ??

I suspect this is a peculiarity of the “Wishful Blog” theme you are using. Unfortunately, I can’t get this theme to work for me because of a glaring programming error that is probably not present in a purchased version. My recommendation would be that you contact the developer of the theme about your problem: https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/wishful-blog/

If you have bought the theme you should not ask questions here in the forum anyway but contact their support: https://wishfulthemes.com/themes/wishful-blog/
