When I have the FC Loan Calculator plugin active with Yoast AND Avada Builder, I am unable to edit Avada elements in the backend editor. This only happens when Yoast SEO is preset. If I disable Yoast, the errors do not happen. When you click the pencil icon to edit a text element in Avada, no popup appears and you get these errors in the console:

jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.1:2 Uncaught TypeError: (intermediate value).setHSpace is not a function

I have been in contact with the FC Loan Calculator plugin developer and with Avada support, and we can’t figure out why when all 3 plugins are active we get these errors. If I disable Yoast SEO and have just Avada and the loan calculator active, there are no errors. This only happens when all 3 plugins are active, and only on pages with the loan calculator shortcode. The FC Loan Calculator plugin developer says that their plugin doesn’t even use a color picker.

Thanks for reaching out. We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!?

I understand you encountered a JS error when activating Yoast SEO with the FC Loan Calculator plugin and the Avada Builder.

Could you please confirm if you still get the same JS error when you activate loan calculator plugin with the default TwentyTwenty theme as well?

In issue persists, please provide us steps to reproduce it to check further on our end so we will consider creating a bug report if necessary.

We look forward to hearing from you.

We do not get the error when using the TwentyTwenty theme. The errors are only triggered when trying to edit Avada Builder elements in the backend, but this only happens when Yoast is installed. If we remove Yoast then the errors don’t happen, and if we remove FC Loan Calculator then the errors don’t happen. Only when all three are present does it happen.

    Steps:
    1. Have Yoast SEO, FC Loan Calculator, and Avada Builder installed.
    2. Add the FC Loan Calculator shortcode to a page
    3. Publish the page
    4. Hover over an element such as the Text element, and click the pencil icon
    5. No popup will appear like it is supposed to to let you edit the element, and the errors appear in the console

I have tested removing Yoast and the errors don’t happen. I have also been in contact with the FC Loan Calculator plugin developer, and he is stumped as to why this is occuring. Maybe you figure out what is causing these errors when Yoast is present and why it is affecting Avada?

Thanks for the feedback. If you’ve found a conflict with another plugin and Yoast SEO, we track plugin compatibility issues on GitHub. We’d appreciate it if you could create a new GitHub issue for our developers. If you haven’t already, we also ask you to report the issue to the other plugin developer as well – https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues
