• Dear all

odd problem after updating (Wc 2.6.14 -> 3.0)

    – we have a custom post type – ‘artists’. Custom post type was created with CPT-onomies plugin (and serves as taxonomy for ‘products’ custom post type)
    – we have a menu link to a page called ‘artists’ (slug is ‘artists’)
    – page is static therefore, not an archive for custom posts. Page uses page.php template

    after update:

menu link now pulls archive page template for ‘artists’ custom post type, not page (static) any more.

Please advise – this may be an issue that was hidden before and is appearing now after database update.

    Any help appreciated.

  • Hi,

I have got the same problem,

after updating from 2.6 to 3.0 my whole site become slow. some of the products are not at all loading in front end.

in Admin Dashboard its not at all listing the products. showing only one product out of 53 products in a row it should be at least 20 products should get display. But its completely looking like broken.

    Any solution to this?

WooCommerce does not control your custom taxonomy archives. If the CPT is defined WITH an archive, it will exist and may be used instead of a page. I don’t see how this is related to WC at all. You need to remove the archive prop when defining the CPT.
