Strange problem with child theme of twentytwelve

  • Hi!

    I have a very strange behavior of my WP installation which makes me mad… I installed a minimal installation of WP 3.9.1 and activated twentytwelve theme. Everything is fine. Then I created and activated a minimal child theme with only a couple lines of style.css:

    /*
Theme Name:     Twenty Twelve Child
Template:       twentytwelve
*/

@import url("../twentytwelve/style.css");

    When I (re-)load the page with Chrome (!!) the font seems to kind of resize with results in a very nervy appearance of the site. Have a look yourself. Unfortunately I don’t know enough HTML/CSS to debug this problem myself. Thus help would be really appreciated…. ??

    You have to use Google Chrome (Windows, Linux or Mac OS X) and you have to reload the page. Then you’ll see that the font first is quite big and after the page finished loading the fonts resize a little smaller. It also happens after emptying the cache witch I did approx. 100 times…. ??

    I’m sorry I still cannot replicate the problem, do I need a slower internet connection?

    Hm. No, it does not depend on the speed of the internet connection. I did replicate the problem on half a dozen computers (Linux, Win, Mac, all Chrome)…. ??

    I can’t see a problem either.The font don’t change sizes as the site reloads.
    Everything looks the same in all browser Sorry!

    Hm. You did use Chrome? You reloaded the page? Have you seen the video? For the video I used Chrome on Mac OS X…
