Strange Problem with Comments Display

So, this is an odd one. For the last week or two my comments don’t all display when I look at them in the back end. This is for regular comments as well as when I’m looking through the spam. Normally, it shows 20 at a time, now it shows, sometimes, as few as four. See this screenshot:

As you can see, the display just ends at 4 comments even though there are multiple pages of comments available – that screenshot is scrolled down as far as it can go!

I have gone trough plugins one by one and it does not seem to fix the problem if I disable them.

Anyone else see anything like this?
