Strange red symbol

Really Simple SSL tries to retrieve the webpage over https:// to test if it has a valid certificate. This can fail sometimes, usually due to hosting security settings. If the plugin cannot retrieve the webpage, the X is shown. If the site is working fine on https:// this can be considered a false positive and safely ignored.
