Strange redirects

I created a simple form in CF7 with the following code

<label> First Name (required)
    [text* first-name] </label>
<label> Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </label>
[submit "Send"]

CF7PP is NOT activated and the form submits and displays a response on the page as expected. I activate CF7PP but did NOT check “Enable PayPal on this form”. When I submit the form it displays my response message for about a half second before redirecting me to my home page with the following query attached to the url: ?cf7pp_redirect=1843 (1843 is the form that I just filled out)

Under PayPal Settings, I added a Return URL of something completely different but it’s not the redirect I’m getting (and I’m not going to PP first since the PayPal setting on the form is not active)
