strange text appearing

Can someone give me a rough idea of what is going wrong on this page? https://beingtaught.us/glossary/missing-letter-rule/

I’ve checked and rechecked the text; I went into the HTML and there’s nothing there which could be causing this. If I turn off the glossary linking for this page, it shows perfectly. Any ideas?
