Strange things happened

    The other day I’ve played around with some 301 redirects on my wordpress site https://www.inshot.at . In the end I just added one redirect in a plugin, then strange things began to happen.

    Out of nowhere my “blog” page went missing, it just disappeared. I’ve created a new page “blog”, which works – except that headlines aren’t working (www.inshot.at/blog).

    The other thing is, that I can’t change my menu structure any more. Previously there was a “top menu” and a “main menu” – now it doesn’t show me any menus at all.

    Google reported me an increase of 404 responses on my website aswell.

    Also the option to change my home page slider went missing.

    I’m using the theme “albedo” – has anyone had similar experiences?

    Isn’t this problem solved by simply removing the redirect?

    If not, which redirection plugin are you using? It should have a support forum – post this question there.
