Strange URL

  • Since version 3.2.0 the filter is redirecting to shop?product_cat=tshirt&filter=… instead of category/tshirt?filter=
    Since this breaks the functionality I wonder if there is any way this can be fixed? (By either you guys or by me)

    Hi,

    this isn’t a bug. Product filter in order to works and manage different product taxonomies need to use the url based on shop page and not the product taxonomy base url.

    If it doesn’t works for you, probably you use two different sidebar for shop and product category page, please use the same sidebar for shop and product taxonomy page.

    I know that I use two different sidebars, I made it that way ??
    Didn’t seem to give any problems before but guess I’ll look for a way to fix the sidebar then.

    Hi @papin,

    yes in previous version works with different sidebar but this cause more error and conflict with other plugins that manage product taxonomy and with wp query with WordPress 4.7.x
    For this reason we return again to first method that allow you to use only one sidebar for filters ??

    I modified my theme to use one sidebar so everything works again.
