• Hi guys,

I just cant find the reason why there there is an additional word “LOGO” in my site title and how to get rid of it..

    Any idea anyone??

Its this site https://www.cadform.de/landing/ – look at the title next to the favicon.

Its running Jupiter X theme, Elementor Pro and a bunch of plugins. I assume to find it there, maybe something got messed up..

Btw, had some website crash issue and recovered a backup. All looks fine except the media library in Elementor is not showing the media from before the backup, only the ones I added later. The media is there though, I can see / access it from the media library itself (the wordpress menu)…

    Thanks in advance, kind regards,
    Niko

Sorry, your screen shot is not loading.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Hm, if I disable all plugins, doesnt that might mess up the plugins?
Do I have to reconfigure them?

Same with Jupiter X and Elementor – if I switch between themes, can I just revert and all is the same?

–> OR I better create a backup before anyways, should be safe then.

Thanks, I’ll try it and report back here.

.. while I do the backup, do you think this might be an approach to get the media files displaying properly again in Elementor edit mode?

Is it possible that Elementor has its own database for those files?

I remember getting an information when restoring a backup with Updraft, that some folders-old need to be deleted first, which i agreed. Maybe the file reference got messed up?

    no

” I better create a backup before anyways, should be safe then.”

    Always a good idea.

“f I switch between themes, can I just revert and all is the same?”

    Yes.

    “updraft”

No idea. I don’t use it.

    Well, I got it.

    Its the Polylang plugin.

I remember that I played around with the way different languages should be displayed, eg cadform/en/subpage. It got messed up a little bit, the landing page resulted in a 404.

This should have been resolved be changing the permalinks structure, as it should rebuild those slugs / urls.

Hm, any idea how to approach that now?

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/polylang/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
