    I have closed all plugins except woocommerce and woocommerce paypal payment, but the error still persists

    I have checked this on my own testing environment and can reproduce it (not everybody seems to be seeing this though). We have opened a ticket for our developer to take a look at it and will come back with hopefully some answers.

    Today I was checking this with our developer and found out what caused this for my setup. In my case, there was a difference between the Merchant Account currency (PayPal developers sandbox account) and the site currency. This caused the error to appear under the “pay later” buttons because it had an error checking the currency on this site.

    Please check your site if these 2 currencies match (it is actually the account location and site currency that you should check). If you want us to take a look at your site, please share the URL with us and we can take a look.

    You can solve this problem by Disable “pay later”

    it seems there are then more than 1 causes for this issue to occur.
    @rafilathif, is turning off the Pay Later option a usable solution for you?

    This undefined message can appear instead of the Pay Later messaging when there is a currency mismatch between the site and the PayPal account.
    If you don’t wish to offer Pay Later anyway, then you can resolve it by disabling all Pay Later options in the plugin settings.
    Otherwise, if you wish to offer the advertisement banners and the Pay Later option, then please make sure your currencies match and reach out to us as described here:
