I upgraded to 3.2 – it said everything was successful and indeed the front page looks fine. If you click on a post title though, it gives you a 404. On the backend all posts, media and everything are visable. I don’t have a problem editing or creating those, that says it goes fine too but I can’t cross check against the published update because of the 404. Guesses? Ideas?

  • Do you have any SEO plugins that tweaks the permalinks?

I had the all in one SEO pack plugin and disabled it but the error persists. It also persists with all plugins disabled.

Turn back on the SEO plugin again.

If it doesn’t work yet, there are a couple of things to check:

1- Can you compare the URL of the page that returns the 404 with the one you can see by hovering the mouse over the title of the post/page from within the admin area?

2- What are your settings under Permalinks?

Seems to be working now the second time I turned off and back on the plugin. Thanks.

Glad to have been of help,

    Cheers
