    Hi,
it seams that on FF (that is using the Flash fall back) the streaming is completely blocking the browser… I don’t know why but I think it’s depending to the Flash component. I’ll try to get more info to see if that is a known issue around the jPlayer component.

    Bye,

    Hi,
I just set 2 strems of radio using the mb.miniAudioPlayer wordpress component on the component page of my blog (https://pupunzi.open-lab.com/mb-jquery-components/jquery-mb-miniaudioplayer/) and it’s working really great also on Firefox. I think the problem in your case could be the wrong stream header…

Thanks for looking into this. I’ve checked the audio player examples on your page and they don’t work for me.

The streams seems to be transferring constantly though, although I did not choose to play them. That doesn’t seem right either, but this is probably another problem.

Maybe it has something to do with settings on my PC, but that might also be the case for visitors of my website. And others have reported the same problems so it is not an isolated problem.

What do you mean by “I think the problem in your case could be the wrong stream header…”.

Can I help you to find what is the problem?

    Hi,
The two streaming File on the blog page are the yellow one. The one that start on page load is not a streamed audio.

I tested the blog page on Firefox of all the available computers on my office (both Mac and PC of different generations from Snow leopard to Maverick, from Windows Vista to Windows8) and on all it streams like a charm…

What I think is that your server is serving the stream with a wrong file header; You should take a look at the server configuration.

    Bye,
    Matteo
