I’m using WPStream free trial and trying to broadcast from Streamyard to my website. I set everything up and made a channel – all looks good. The problem is that I cannot get a stream key.
When I turn on the Channel and choose to go live with external streamimg app I get the popup with the url but the Stream key field is empty as copy/pasted below:

Go Live With External Streaming App
    Please choose your RTMP encoder/broadcaster

    StreamYard
    RTMP server URL:
    rtmp://wpstre.am/golive/o63hc/QSBbftWxJByFiThswpstream/ COPY
    Stream key:
    COPY

So I can’t add it to the destinations in Streamyard and am unable to do a live stream on my website.
How can I get the Stream Key?

I’d really like this to work.

    Hello there,

So sorry to hear that you are having issues going live with WpStream and StreamYard. Please make sure that you first have the latest version of the plugin installed. I am not too sure why the stream key is not appearing as we have not had such an issue before.

Would you be able to send us a screenshot of what you see when you choose StreamYard as the Streaming App? It should look something like this https://Prnt.Sc/NkNCzgoTzkgc

Looking forward to helping you solve this issue.

    Best,

    Hello again,

It doesn’t look right indeed and we thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, we have tried to replicate this on our environment several times but were unable to.

We would appreciate it if you could send the link to your website along with credentials to an admin account so that we can investigate the matter. Please send this info to [email protected]

I have already notified my colleagues to look out for your email and they will be handling it with high priority. Please add ‘Missing Stream Key’ to the subject.

    Best regards

    Hello again,

We were able to replicate this in some regards and it appears that there may be an interference from the ‘Auto TURN ON’ channel setting if it has been enabled/disabled twice in a short span of time. We are currently implementing a fix for the next update.

In the mean time, we are still looking forward to your admin URL and credentials to check if it is the same factor on your environment as well or if there are other underlying ones.

Our recommendation is to attempt to only enable or disable this setting once in the same session.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best,
    Beatrice
