}

When the next update of the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is released on Monday, you can remove the above snippet.

I posted https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/images-within-sow-image-container-using-heightauto-are-stretching-improperly/ on the Widgets Bundle support forum before I came across this.

Wouldn’t the solution mentioned via https://stackoverflow.com/a/43331252/1275054 be more friendly/flexible by keeping flex & further accommodating it (this was mentioned in my support topic I linked to above)?
