Strict PayPal Email Address Checking

  • Could someone please offer a bit more context around the setting/configuration “Use Strict PayPal Email Address Checking”. From what I understand, the setting will ensure that whatever email address specified at the top of the setting/configurations page (“PayPal Email Address”) is the same account where the payment will be deposited.

    I guess my confusion stems from, the question, what other account would it be deposited in otherwise?

    Hi, this option is to prevent issues where sometimes a person adds a different PayPal e-mail and subsequently causes issues. By enabling this option you are making sure that the PayPal e-mail account added to the plugin settings is the account where all the money is being deposited.

    It is a safe way of proofing your Paypal account settings.
