String Translation for the very dumb

    Hey there,

    first off: Sorry. I’m not new to WordPress, I develop my own themes, I know how to code, I try to avoid plugins and frameworks as good as I can and make everything myself. BUT: I just can’t get my head around string translation. And I don’t know where to start looking.

    I’ve found quite some stuff: things called “I18n” and “Poedit” and “pll_register_string” and so on. But as I said I don’t know where to start.

    All I want is to translate the few hard coded sentences in my theme like “back to overview” and such.

    Please show me where to start.
