String translation not working

    Hello,
    First of all, thank you for a wonderful plugin. It really does wonders and more or less works perfectly.
    However, I do seem to have some problems with certain string translations. More concretely, the strings in the tabs after the post.

    Also, I am using footnotes plugin, at the translation of the string doesn’t work.
    I have translated it in the plugin string tab: https://imgur.com/a/eCZiR
    But this is what I get on the website: https://imgur.com/a/EWGdV

    I am using WordPress 4.9 with Hoffman theme. I tried disabling other plugins and still nothing. Don’t know how to solve this issue.

    Hi,

    You probably must translate strings in your theme or plugins. You can use the plugin Loco Translate to achieve this.

    Do you have some sort of link that explains sensibly how to integrate Loco and Polylang? I have tried googling it but haven’t found anything reliable. Can I do that from WordPress dashboard, or I need to download .mo file and upload it via FTP Client?

    And I still don’t understand why footnotes aren’t translated, since PolyLang sees that string?

    You can install Loco Translate and translate theme from the dashboard. No need to download .mo files or upload them via FTP, Loco Translate does everything for you.

    Hi Jurica. Thank you, I have managed to translate everything now. But I still don’t know how to deal with the footnotes issue. Does anyone have an idea how to solve it?
