Strip Out Category URL Base in a Single Category

    Hi guys,

    I’m re-vamping a WordPress install fro a client and I’ve come across a need to take out the /category/ URL base for just one of my categories.

    It’s kind of a master category under which all the rest of the content sits.

    Is there any way I can strip out the category URL base in one single category.

    So, instead of https://www.mysite.com/category/master/, I get https://www.mysite.com/master/ ??

    Can I just use a ReWrite rule in .htaccess for this?

    I have resolved this by using a proper permalink structure.

    Did you manage to apply this to just one category?
    I am looking for a way to do this myself.
