Stripe Alipay Subscriptions

Recurring payments for Alipay are enabled From Stripe account, but they are not working with this Stripe Alipay extension.

Could you clarify what happens when you mention it’s not working? Are you running into errors?

It would easier to troubleshoot Stripe and Subscription issues if we could have your Site status report. Are you able to share that with us? You can find it at WooCommerce > Status > System Status > Click – Get system report. Please feel free to remove any confidential information from the report if need be.

Sorry for confusion. There is no any issue as far as the plugin is concerned.

Stripe payment working, but I need to be available for Woocommerce subscriptions plugin.

From Stripe account Recurring payments are enabled for Alipay (Stripe Alipay) and I need that enabled on website.

Thanks for the clarification.

WooCommerce Subscriptions supports a variety of [payment methods](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/subscriptions/payment-gateways/#basic-features).

However, I believe that right now in the Stripe extension, the Alipay payment method doesn’t support WooCommerce Subscriptions. Stripe may offer their own subscriptions features for AliPay, but that is not a tokenized recurring payment method required by WooCommerce Subscriptions.

I’m checking on this to confirm and will post a reply when I have more information.

A quick follow-up – The Express payment methods (ApplePay | Google Pay) are part of the Stripe Credit Card method and support recurring payemnts for WooCommerce Subscriptions.

But, the Stripe AliPay payment method does not declare support for WooCommerce Subscriptions. https://d.pr/N5qTQF

I know all that, but I ask for solution. Is there any filter or action code that I can use to enable Stripe Alipay for Woocommerce subscriptions ?

You should still be able to offer customers Alipay for manual renewals. I cannot provide any custom code for Stripe to ‘enable’ Stripe Alipay for WooCommerce subscriptions – that would be up to the Subscription developers to implement correctly.

To get that done, it would be great to have you add a suggestion to review how Subscriptions might use Alipay for auto-renewals via the Stripe gateway to our Ideas Board, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been discussed. You’ll need to make sure your license for Subscriptions is up to date in order to get support there.
