Stripe donations problem via Iphone – donation button not working – spinning onl

English is not my first language so please excuse any grammatical and typographical errors.

The reason why I′m making this post is that I have come across a problem that I have tried to solve for a couple of days now with no luck.

The problem that I have means that users with Iphones can′t donate. When you have an Iphone and click on the “Donate” button, nothing happens – the donate button is loading the text “Please Wait” without going further than that. No windows opens up for you to enter your credit card information.

I′m using Stripe as my payment gateway with the “Stripe’s modal checkout” enabled. “Stripe’s modal checkout” means that a donor should be able to complete his donation in a Stripe “pop up window” rather than directly on the page with the default credit card fields but when you trie to submit a donation nothing happens and the page stays the same, instead of redirecting to a payment confirmation. When you hit the “Donate” button there is a small circle next to the button that circles and looks like it’s submitting, but nothing happens!

Please note that this problem is only related to Iphones. Everything works as it should on my desktop computer and Samsung phones – donations with desktop computer and Samsung phones with the Stripe modal and the Stripe test credit card numbers are going through perfectly.

I have contacted priority support but they haven’t been able, not yet I hope, to help me in the right direction to solve the problem. They say that they are all unable to reliably replicate the issue and are asking me to predictably and reliably replicate the issue, and they will be happy to continue troubleshooting. The latest support answer is emphasising that issues that aren’t predictable, are nearly impossible to figure out how we might fix them.

I hope that someone who has had the same problem will be able to assist me to solve this issue by confirm the problem.
