    Hi,

I am trying to set up Paid Memberships Pro, using Stripe as the Payment Gateway.

For Payment Flow, I have “Accept payments in Stripe (Stripe Checkout)” selected and for Update Billing Flow, I have “Update Billing in Stripe Customer Portal” selected.

I’ve added the Webhook endpoint with the specified events in my Stripe account.

I am testing in Sandbox mode and when I click the “Submit and Confirm” button on the registration page, I get the following error message: “Could not create checkout session. Not a valid URL”.

I tried the usual such as clearing caches, using 2024 theme, and deactivating plugins to no avail.

I’ve also looked through the Troubleshooting Guide on for Stripe on the PMP website but don’t see this particular issue addressed.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?

    Thanks!

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

I’ve visited your levels page however it appears that you don’t have a checkout URL set.

Please navigate to Memberships > Settings > Pages and ensure that all of the relevant pages have been assigned to their dropdowns and that they all have their respective pmpro_ shortcodes present on the page.

This should fix the ‘Invalid URL’ error you are getting on checkout.
