  • Hi Marco!

Could you please confirm if this is happening despite having the Billing Region and Shipping Region fields filled?

Also, to have some context, could you please elaborate if this is only happening with Google Pay or is it happening with Apple Pay as well?

    Thank you!

    Hi,
Sorry have never worked with apple so can’t test that.

And yes regions are all filled out, but I had to do the region in the shipping area myself as it looks like g-pay is filling out the details in shipping address for some reason and doesn’t put the region in

    g pay window

Could you try another browser or private mode?

Otherwise, see this GitHub response: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/568#issuecomment-668576108

tried private mode and g-pay button doesn’t show up, tried on my mobile and doesn’t work either no error shown but just returns to cart

It looks like this could be happening due to a conflict between the Stripe plugin and your theme or another plugin.

To be sure of this, please perform a conflict test by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin and repeating the action that is causing the problem. If that solves it, then re-enable all plugins one-by-one, until you find the one creating the conflict.

If you can’t perform a conflict test on your live site, we recommend creating a staging site using the WP Staging plugin.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

Let us know how that goes for you!

    Sorted.
I had to disable the billing_state and shipping_state which I did with help of plugin “WooCommerce Checkout Field Editor” but could only do so after deactivating plugin: “FME Addons: Shop as a Customer for WooCommerce”.

After disabling those fields google pay is working.

Have an issue with button placement on product page but will open a different topic for that.

Thanks for your support, much appreciated!
