The CVC input field placeholder in multibyte languages are too long, resulting in fields not taking up enough space and overlapping each other. Especially in Japanese, such as “セキュリティコード(security code),” 18 character spaces are used. This is especially true on mobile devices. I think the placeholder in this display should be CVC.

These fields are called via an iframe, I think it isn’t possible to fix this from a theme. I’m using a different display as a workaround, but the Stripe inline form is my favorite, and, it’s the default display. It would be great if you could correct this indication.

    Thank you.

    Hi @fishpie

There is only so much we can do to modify the display of the Stripe inline form. Can you provide a screenshot showing what you’re describing?

The inline form is limited in what can be changed with regard to its display.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @fishpie

Thanks for the screenshot. When it comes to the mobile responsiveness of the inline form we’re limited in what we can do via the plugin. That’s why we offer the payment form and custom form designs, so you can find the best form that fits your site.

If you’re set on using the Stripe Inline form, I’d recommend sending a request to Stripe support and showing them the issue that the form has with multibyte languages.
