    Hi i have recently updated to new checkout criteria of stripe and updated my plugin. but there are many issues faced like order status is not updated on my admin panel even though payment is captured on stripe. sometimes it gives error of payment intent. Please look into these issues as it is affecting my business.

    Yes, same problem here. Seems to fail on payments that need 3D Secure Authentication, the Woocommerce order is not having it’s status updated as being paid. I also updated to version 8.3 yesterday but have just rolled back to 8.2 as I assumed this was the issue.

    Is this happening on all orders or just some?
    If it is just some, do you see any similarities between those?

    Can you please share a screenshot of the order notes on one of those? Please remove any sensitive information before sharing it here. I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
    You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Also, do you have Stripe debug mode enabled? If so, please also share any Stripe error logs you find.

    If you don’t, please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe > Settings > Advanced Settings > Enable Log error messages > Save the changes.

    If you think you are able to replicate the issue, please run a test order to do it. If not, once you get a new order with the issue, please share the Stripe error logs with us (they will only show when an order is placed after enabling this).

    Hello, I can confirm that we are experiencing the same issue with our orders with payment successful on Stripe but still showing as “pending payment” in Woocommerce. The webhooks are returning a 200OK from Stripe but the order status is not being updated. This issue started to occur when we updated to the latest version 8.3 and so we also rolled back to version 8.2. We pass our orders through 3D secure authentication.

    Please fix this issue as this is a serious problem, and as I can see on the forum, many others are already reporting this issue as well

    Us too. Since updating to 8.3.0 some orders status do not change. Some do.

    I’ve rolled back to 8.2.0

    Hi @carolm29 this issue and most of the recent payment issues on the forum are likely related to https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/3154

    The quick fix for anyone struggling is to revert to the previous version (8.2.0) until 3154 is resolved

    Just to note, this has been fixed with Stripe version 8.3.1.

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
