    Dear Stripe-Team,

    I am wondering why I have a request to the following URL on the product-detail page:
    https://js.stripe.com/v3/?ver=3.0

    Shouldn’t stripe just be loaded on the checkout page? Did I configure something wrong?
    I don’t have the Payment Request Buttons active on my site.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey there!

    I can’t see your site (it’s blocking me), but I looked on my site. The only time that any request is made to Stripe on my site on the product page is when I have the Payment Request buttons active.

    I would look at any other sources of the Stripe JS loading, from plugins to themes, and then doublecheck that Payment Requests aren’t on.

    Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!

    @slash1andy thanks for getting back to me.
    I changed my firewall rules now. Could you please try it again? And if it doesn’t work may I ask from which country you are trying to access it?

    I am using the “Storefront” theme and the “WooCommerce Stripe-Gateway”-plugin for the Stripe integration.
    There is also the “wp-rocket”-plugin for caching active. It minifies my JavaScript but doesn’t combine it.

    Here are my settings (language is German)

    Hey there @schnetzi

    I’ve taken a look at the page and compared it to one of my site that uses Stripe and Apple Pay, and another that doesn’t.

    The only time that *stripe.com appears in the page source is when the Payment Request buttons are active.

    The difference is on your site the link is commented out and use dns-prefetch – this isn’t part of our plugin and is coming from something else.

    Can I ask you to temporarily deactivate the WP Rocket plugin, clear any caching across the site, and try in a new browser, please?

    Thanks,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    @dougaitken Thanks for your help. I tried the following steps now:
    * I removed stripe from my dns-prefetch
    * tried again –> did not work
    * removed the whole cache
    * tried again –> did not work
    * it is not a browser-cache issue as I am always using incognito-mode with developer toolbar open and having activated that it shouldn’t cache in development mode
    * I disabled wp-rocket fully
    * tried again –> did not work
    * I cleared the whole Cloudflare-Cache
    * tried again –> did not work

    Do you have any other ideas?

    @jricketts4 I understand that you also have a lot to do and therefore don’t respond the next day. But if I don’t respond the next day I don’t feel like it’s okay to resolve my issue right away.
