Stripe Payment ok but order status canceled on Woocommerce

1. Have you checked if any fatal errors were generated at the time when this issue occurred? You can navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and from the dropdown on the right side, please see if there are any logs starting with the words fatal-error. Please check if the timings coincide.

2. Could you also check for PHP error logs in the locations explained in this guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/finding-php-error-logs/#section-2?

3. Are you seeing any order notes? Kindly share screenshot(s) of the order notes. We recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

1/ no fatal errors.
2/ This was disabled, I configured it now.

4/ We changed the status of the order, it was set to “Annulée” (canceled in french)

Here you can see that we received the confirmation on our acces_log, but woocommerce didn’t got it and without the error_log we don’t know what happend:

To get a better understanding of your site setup, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Another thing you could try is to isolate the issue by following the steps below:

– Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront.
– Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Stripe.
– Put Stripe in test mode: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#test-mode
– Place a test order with Stripe to see if the same behavior occurs.

Thanks for sharing the system report, nothing stands out as the cause for the behavior you’re describing.

I looked around and found similar reports leading me to this GitHub issue: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2176

This seems to be affecting purchases made with account creation during checkout on sites with the new checkout experience.

Please take a look at the steps presented on GitHub and try to reproduce the issue on your site.

Not sure it’s the same issue, because the customer who got the problem had already an account and already have 3 orders in the history.
