Stripe subscription gateway

Which previous version are you referring to? Im Membership 2 there was always only Stripe Single gateway. Stripe subscription is only available in Pro version of the plugin.

I purchased the pro version, however when I had to reinstall my plugins about a week and a half ago I had to re-configure all my payment gateways and the Stripe subscription gateway is no longer there. Neither are any of the pro add-ons. Perhaps the two issues are related.

I was able to reconfigure all the settings, and shortly afterward a plugin update came through, at which point those features disappeared.

If you updated your Pro Version to free version on your site, then you have not longer access to Pro features. (it is possible if your subscription is no longer active and you disabled WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin on your site – that plugin prevents from updating from Pro to Free version)
You need to install back Pro version you had before to get back all the Pro features.

If that’s the case I don’t know what’s going on then, because I just paid $49 dollars to have it, your website interface says it’s already installed, yet I don’t have any pro features available to me.

I would love some help troubleshooting what’s actually going on here.

I never had any trouble with accessing pro features before this.

I fixed it myself by simply uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. Third time is the charm, I guess.

Or not.

Now I have s Stripe subscriptions, but still no access to pro add-ons.

Nevermind, now they are magically available even though the weren’t a moment ago.

None of this experience instills me with confidence.

Version numbers are different for Pro and Free version, to make sure that you have pro installed version number should be 1.x and if you see 4.x that means free is installed.

If you disable both Membership 2 Pro and WPMU DEV Dashboard plugins then WordPress will check free version number and if you perform the update you will get the free version, but as long as any of these two plugins are active you shouldn’t see notification to update to 4.x
I’m guessing that this happened and that you “updated” to free version.
