Stripe test/sandbox not working

  • Dear s2member,

    I am using s2member Pro. In my WP dashboard I’ve set s2member Pro to Stripe sandbox/test mode “yes”, and enable logging routines “yes”, but transactions are still live (the test environment doesn’t appear).

    I deactivated s2member Pro, and activated iThemes Exchange, to see if the test environment would appear with iThemes Exchange. With iThemes Exchange the test environment appeared fine (I could use Stripe’s test Visa # 4242 4242 4242 4242, etc). But with s2member Pro, I can’t get into the test environment.

    Why isn’t Stripe testing working?

    Dear KTS915,

    Yes, I did have the Stripe test keys entered into S2Member. I switched to using iThemes Exchange instead, so the problem went away.

    Had the same problem – Or better – the test payments went through and accounts got created – but in my Stripe (set to Sandbox and using sandbox keys) account I could not see any transactions.

    Well live it works without hitches (well when I activated it – there was still the description bug present which ment I googled for 30min till I found out why it threw an error – actually only in live, not sandbox – but that error is fixed in newest s2member).
