Hi!

We had an issue with some payments (I guess only 3d payments) that they are successfully paid in the stripe but these are cancelled in the WP orders.

I noticed that there are 2 API versions used in the Stripe configured and the default one is set to 2019-12-03 and this plugins uses 2019-09-09 according to the docs. It seems that the payment intent is created with 2019-09-09 but then the payment continues with the default API version – in this case 2019-12-03. See these screenshots for more details:
Is the issue related to the API versions? Is it possible to fix it somehow without creating new Stripe user?

Hi @adamsbk,

Yes, you are correct; our plugin uses the 2019-09-09 version by default. However, you can update the API version on your Stripe account’s developers dashboard without affecting the Stripe WooCommerce Extension.

Thank you for the answer. However, when upgrading Stripe API version, it is possible to set default version to the newest (2023) version only and I do not see the option to set it 2019-09-09 as default version. Or am I missing something?

Hi @adamsbk,

First, go ahead and log into your Stripe account’s developers dashboard. From there, you’ll need to delete existing webhooks. Then, you’re all set to create a new webhook endpoint.

Just remember, when you’re setting up your new webhooks endpoints, dont forget to select the latest API version.
