My WooCommerce website is in MYR currency and I wish to add Alipay as one of the payment methods. I use this plugin to integrate Stripe payment.

“Alipay is enabled – it requires store currency to be set to EUR, AUD, CAD, GBP, HKD, JPY, NZD, SGD, USD”

The above message was shown when I enable Alipay as payment method. However, according to Stripe Alipay doc, it says MYR is included in one of the currencies.

Please let me know if there is any method to solve this.

    Hi @tingfatt ,

The above message was shown when I enable Alipay as payment method. However, according to Stripe Alipay doc, it says MYR is included in one of the currencies.

Stripe’s Alipay integration doesn’t support MYR currency at the moment. It is possible that you might have seen the documentation for integration other than Alipay. List of supported currencies for Alipay integration by Stripe can be found in Stripe doc here: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/alipay#supported-currencies

I hope that helps clear the confusion.

    Hey @tingfatt

You’re absolutely correct. MYR does show on the supported currencies list.

To confirm, can you let me know what country is set here, please? WooCommerce > Settings > General > Store Address

    Thanks!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
