    Hi forum expert/s,
    Five months ago, I hired a seo company to do on-page optimisation for me; they replaced my blogger (external blog) link on my main website (curvysea dot com) with a WordPress blog (curvysea dot com/blog) for being a part (internal page) of my website.
    Since I have had the new blog, I posted new contents on it, I checked everything was OK but in my Google W. master console, I found the blog errors in the Google structured data report, the more I add contents, the more errors it shows. But when I checked it in the structured data testing tool, it said “all good”.
    My question is that: How to fix the blog errors permanently so they won’t show on Google structured data report anymore.
    Many thanks in advance!
    Cindy

  • Hi Cindy, what errors do you get?

    Sorry, your developers used a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme https://vathemes.com/ for help with customizations and issues. You paid for support when you bought the theme, so you should contact the people who sold you the theme. They will be able to help with the structured data errors.

    These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at https://www.ads-software.com/themes/. See https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products

    Hi songdogtech,
    Thanks for your answer! The SEO company told me it’s a free theme and I didn’t have to pay for it. When I found out about the errors (have been there since they replaced my blogger with the wordpress blog in May 2015), I asked them then they always said it’s fine!! Now I don’t hire them anymore and I don’t know how to fix the errors, plus I don’t know if Google considers the blog is a part of the main website (curvysea dot com) or not if I continue adding posts/contents on the blog?
    One more question to ask: How do you know if the theme is paid or free?

    @cindy1875

    Hi,

    Not my issue but, this is NOT a forum about SEO. According to forum rules and subject, we are here to help bugs, not SEO.

    If you want more help with SEO, I suggest you go to other websites with tutorials (there are plenty ~ some with more accurate things than others).

    @digico Paris: there are no rules here concerning the technical aspects of SEO being off-topic, i.e. the OP is asking about structured data errors.

    The style sheet of the theme points to https://vathemes.com

    I don’t mind giving advices about SEO but, it’s an endless debate that (I think) is not good here on troubleshooting topic (install, make it work, improve). Plus if we start about SEO advices on a troubleshooting topic, I’m afraid we’ll have have tons of agencies asking for free advice. And definitely not my goal here.

    I’m open to discussion but, i think then please create a forum topic for SEO and WordPress, to divide issue.

    Regards,

    @cindy1875 Write please what errors Google Websmaster Tools shows. As far as I can see there is no structured data, except hAtom and hAtom is fine on your blog

    Thank you very much for your answer! Today I found the errors have reduced from 9 to 6 errors after I asked my web developer to fix it.

    @digico Paris
    I think you’re not sure what you’re talking about! This forum is for anything related to WordPress and as long as no spamming if I’m correct!
    We need experts like songdogtech to help us or to give us advice in order to improve our WordPress blogs. You’re not the moderator or organizer of the forum so bring your goal somewhere else please.

    @local Fame: Thanks for looking at the issue! I think it has improved (slowly).
