    Hi,
in GSC there appears the error: “offers or review or aggregateRating is required”.

I was able to find a couple of older tickets, where exactly the same issue has been discussed. But one issue persists:

In the replies of these tickets it has been explained that acquiring reviews is required and recommended. But due to Googles documentation that′s not the full truth. If “offers” is part of structured data, then no review or aggregateRating is required.

Additionally it has been mentioned, that RankMath pulls the product schema automatically into shop and category pages.

In our case, all product schema comprise offer data and no schema warnings or errors are displayed in testing tool. But on our shop main page and category pages, only “type” “id”, “name”, “url” and “description” is pulled.

Why are offer details missing and how to add them?

    Hello @mirkodii,

Thank you for contacting the support.

The Product Schema should only be added to the single product pages, not to the shop and category archives. Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce and enable Remove Schema Data from Shop Archives to remove the Schema from the Shop page.

To remove it from the product categories, please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Product Categories and enable the Remove Snippet Data option.

Once done, clear the cache of your site and validate the fix in your GSC account to fix the issue.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

Following your steps I was able to remove product data form shop and category pages and to resolve the GSC error.

Please allow one further inquiry for basic understanding as I just started working with your plugin:
Why are there these two settings options? In which cases does it make sense to enable these options?

    Hello @mirkodii,

These two are separate because you might want to apply different settings to either of them. For example, is possible to keep the option disabled in one of them and remove the Product Schema with a filter which would allow you to still have control over other types of Schema.

Hope this helps clarify your doubts.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
