As a new user I am trying to understand how an event calendar is expected to display events stored on post types that are not inherently structured to capture event information: title, description, venue, organizer, start date/time, end date/time, etc. None of the available choices in the setup (posts, pages, media, products, elementor templates) are designed to hold event information.

Does this plugin depend on some other plugin? Is there something else I am missing?

Hello, this isn’t an event calendar specifically. It’s a calendar that displays posts based on their post date.

However, we are the creators of Events Manager as well, which is an events plugin, and we’ve integrated Events Manager with WP FullCalendar so that our specific data structure is used. Other plugins could do this too, but it’d require specific integration.

What you’re suggesting is actually a pretty good idea though.

    Thanks for confirming that point.
