Structured tags in single event permalinks

  • What is the correct way to get Structured tags incorporated into single event permalinks?

    When I use ” events/event/%year% ” under Settings > Event Organiser > Permalinks > Event (single), it actual prints ‘%year%’ and not the value of year for the that event.

    Structure tags are only for custom post types, so you’ll have to implement your own logic using add_rewrite_tag() and add_rewrite_rule(). Keep in mind that events can occur across multiple years, so this isn’t something the plug-in can help with particularly.
