    I know this gets asked a lot, but I’ve read your answers and still don’t know. Daily quotes appears on my list of widgets for the primary location, the sidebar. I’ve got 14 quotes in file which are supposed to repeat. But nothing shows up on the blog. I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do. Is there some code I need to paste in, and where would I paste it?

    If you successfully added the quote section then most likely you didn’t click on the “Settings” link and then the “Save” button.

    This is required the first time you install the plugin as you need to save a theme or the quotes won’t show. This does cause some confusion and probably should be done when you first install the plugin. My original thoughts were not to auto insert the default theme so one could verify it was what was desired and make changes, if necessary.

    So try that and let me know.

    Thank you Jeremy. That worked! Unfortunately, and this may not be a cleverwise problem, the quote box runs over the right margin and you can only see the left half of it. The same is now true of the Google Adsense ad right below it. This wasn’t happening before I had the quote box. Maybe it will fix itself, or is there something I should do? theinnbythehealingpath.com

    You need to change the width of the theme.

    You can do this by editing the default theme in “Settings“, then change “width: 296px;” to an appropriate width.

    For example: “width: 125px;

    You should note the default theme defines a width in two places so change it in both if you continue to use that theme. You are, of course, free to design a new theme at any time. Also I am not 100% sure of the width of your sidebar. I didn’t look at your site code or anything so experiment to get the look that meets your criteria. Plus don’t forget to hit the “Save” button to view the changes live on your site.

    Fixed it, Jeremy. You’re the greatest. I will give cleverwise some 5star reviews.
