Struggling to upload a theme! Error message!

  • Hey all,

    Ive been trying to upload a new theme onto my site and this message keeps popping up?

    The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini

    .

    Anyone know how to fix it? I have also tried uploading the theme using Filezilla and that didn’t work either… Any ideas?

  • Are you uploading the actual theme zip file? Some developers (i.e themes from themeforest) package the theme zip file within another zip folder containing other large items such as PSD source files etc, which will cause problems.
