    Hi exiria,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Could you try the following steps and let me know how your import goes?

    1. While on restoring database, leave it running for 15 minutes.
    2. After 15 minutes, open another tab and try to login to wp-admin with WP Admin username/password of the exported site
    3. Go to settings -> permalinks and save the permalink structure
At this point the website should be successfully migrated.

    Hi bizproalle,

Were you able to restore the site successfully?

I am having same issue ??

We paid for multi site tool also but still same issue moving 400mb from multi site to regular site

Left it waiting for 15 minutes, even looking in to PHPmyadmin and nothing is in there from the restore.

The plugin and theme folder copied ok but no content or database / settings

    what to do ?

    Same thing here.

It’s a big 200mb file but I’ve never experienced a hanging import sequence. It does move but it’s progressively very slow.

This is on MT Grid Pro.

Not sure if this will help. I had exactly the same issue yesterday. I wound up reinstalling the destination WP and staring over in the transfer. The first time I used Internet Explorer ver 11 to to the transfer (failed). Then I used chrome and it worked beautifully. The find and replace function saved my bacon as we were moving a .mobi web to a .com as well.

If you bought AVADA theme you have to follow me:
    1) Install WP + Avada + every plugins
    2) Go to Avada -> Install Demos
    3) Click Install on Avada Classic
    DONE ??

You don’t need to instal All in One WP Migration…
I hope that it helps you..
    Good luck from Poland ??

Has anyone tried this? It is not working for any of the sites I’m having problems with:

Howto: Restore a WordPress blog from Backup using All in One WP Migration

I think this should be listed on the WordPress Plugin page for something to try.

Please let us know if you have any luck.

    Thanks.

    internet glitch, apologies!

3 days ago I migrated my site just fine…

Now, when it gets to “restoring database” it asks me to login to my wordpress admin account. When I do that it says:

“The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”

Ive tried with multiple browsers. Been using this just fine up until now! Please help!

    Update:

Migration does not work using find/replace.

Migration DOES work without using find/replace.

Why would find/replace cause the above issue?

I decided to try using the plugin in a local WordPress installation and had NO PROBLEMS at all!

Last week, my site and several others were down for almost an entire day due to a system problem. So, it seems that the problem is my hosting service and I’m about to deal with them.

I wanted to post this to see if anyone else wants to try and if you get the same results.

I use InstantWP (small program) and I even use it on a USB drive.

    update:

-Imported to new host without using find/replace.
-Created a backup from new host using find/replace.
    -Restored backup from new host.

    Worked!
