    What total size is the site?
    Could you post the info that is under the Help tab on the admin page? ( Server Info)

    The total size of the backup is just 356MB.

    i have the same issue, my site is about 700BM

    same problem here too… stuck on ‘creating zip archive…’
    Looking via FTP I see that the sql and zip is created but the .schedule-running file is still there.
    Enabled support, but unable to type in the window title ‘New Message’. I click on the menu icon, then the window title changes to BackUpWordPress Support and a faint ‘No conversations’. Can’t type in window.

    Was able to get in touch via Support tab by using IE instead of FF.

    the support window might have been blocked by a popup manager

    I’m having the same problem. In my case I just deleted the .schedule-default-X-running file and refreshed my backup page. The previously hung backup then showed up in the list and I was able to download it and restore. It looks like it was indeed a complete backup FWIW.
