stuck on default currency

Hi,
i created 3 currencies without any customization.
but when i try to change between them, it jump back the the first currency the page opened with.
so if for example my default is usd, when i change it to euro, it jump back to usd.
i even use the code in an empty page, same result. why is it happens?
