I made a reply in another thread about the problem I am having but noticed the thread had been marked resolved so figured I would create a thread for my problem which is not resolved.

I have several websites that get stuck at “Done retrieving a list of all WordPress files.”.

They sit there for hours even though the backups are only between 20 MB – 450MB in size and the servers I am restoring the websites on have several hundred of gigabytes of free SSD disk space and the server has tons of available resources (space, ram and cpu).

What is the problem? I have tried both the google drive and ftp import and both get stuck at “Done retrieving a list of all WordPress files.”.

I have also just tried the below suggestion but I get stuck on “Done preparing blogs”:

[WordPress]/wp-content/ai1wm-backups directory (via FTP/SFTP). After that you can use Restore button from Backups page to import the file.

I am running php 7.1 if that makes any difference.

Hey @smashbros, I was experiencing the same issue and saw that there was a problem with admin-ajax and the import. I decided to try php 7.0 and that worked. Good luck!

@chickey, thank you for the tip. I will try php 7.0! 5.6 and 7.1 did not work. Fingers crossed for 7.0.

Okay I have tried to import my migration files using php 5.6, php 7.0 and php 7.1 and none of them worked.

The server I have got all the migration files from is running PHP 5.4.36 and maybe that makes a difference?

    I increased the MAX_EXECUTION_TIME to 360 seconds from default 30. The MEMORY_LIMIT, POST_MAX_SIZE and UPLOAD_MAX_FILESIZE I increased to 1024MB from 256MB.

The new server has 15GB ram, 200GB of free SSD space and 4 core xeon at 3.1GHz and running ubuntu 16.4 64bits and there is nothing else on this server but a few empty wordpress installations waiting to receive their all in one wp migration files.

    What could be wrong?

Emailed the support again. Lets see what they say. Find it odd that the support does not comment with the solution to people with similar problem so we can fix the problems ourselves or at least attempt as it would save them time.

    Hi

Just to share a bit more details about the problem in case somebody face it. Basically the problem was related to ioncube PHP module, one of the plugins (sspro) requires that PHP module and if this module is not enabled, it throws fatal error and blocks the import process at final stage. There are two solutions
    1. Delete sspro plugin after import
    2. Enable ioncube PHP module

I am having this same problem but my WP installation is local and does not have any other plugins aside from All In One WP Migration and the All In One WP Migration Google Drive Extension. I have tried PHP 7.0 and PHP 7.1 with no luck, increased max_execution_size to 300000000 and I even enabled the ioncube PHP module just in case.

I have emailed support but haven’t had any reply yet so I am posting here. If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know.

Is there a logfile I can look at that might offer any suggestions as to what the problem is?

I’ve tried it on very small sites (50mb) and large ones… same thing – always stuck at “Done preparing blogs”. Support has tried everything and still same thing.

And, very little help from the designer/support itself – after all this time?

    This plugin is garbage!
